FORMATION OF PROFESSIONAL REPERTOIRE IN THE CONTEXT OF HISTORICAL AND SOCIAL FUNCTIONS OF BANDURA CREATIVITY

The article analyzes in detail the conditions for the formation of the bandura as a full-fledged academic instrument, highlights the stages of the unification of its form, and considers the processes of formation of the banduryst’s concert and didactic repertoire. The main question that the author ponders over: making a breakthrough in the development of academic bandura from the beginning of the last century to today and beyond. The 20th century itself was marked by a new stage in the development of bandura art and the appearance of a number of notable figures in folklore-academic performance and creativity. Paradoxically, the century in which numerous bearers of the authentic kobzar tradition and outstanding personalities associated with this ancient Ukrainian instrument were physically destroyed was marked by the appearance of the first scientific works on the history of the bandura, playing textbooks, teaching aids, repertoire collections, etc. The study expresses some cautions regarding the presentation of bandura today and outlines the way forward for academic bandura art.
