Abstract

This article thoroughly analyzes the development of ensemble performance on wind and percussion instruments in Ukraine. Some conditions and artistic factors influencing the formation of performing ensembles are traced. The purpose of the study is to determine the main directions of development of ensemble performance on wind and percussion instruments in Ukraine and to establish the features of its use in music, arts and applications. The article emphasizes that ensemble performance on wind and percussion instruments in Ukraine has a long tradition and is an important component of musical art before and currently. In the conditions of growing interest in wind music, it is difficult to imagine modern musical realities without wind ensemble performance, which is increasingly taking its place in the general system of musical performance. Chamber ensembles are created on the basis of brass bands, which increasingly appear in various concert halls, competitions, festivals, etc. A multi-genre repertoire is created, which covers the relevant range of artistic tasks, stimulates the expansion of artistic, technical and acoustic capabilities, as well as the working range of the chamber ensemble. The art of playing in a chamber ensemble differs from both solo and orchestral performance. This is an independent type of collective performance, with its inherent features. But it should be noted that many of the issues solved by the musicians of the chamber ensemble and orchestra are similar in the process of performance. Thus, in both types of collective performance, musicians must have the skills of simultaneous beginning of the sound, its conduct and end, the interconnection of strokes, dynamics, intonation, monitoring the observance of collective rhythm. The organization of the ensemble begins with the selection of its performers. It is necessary to take into account the general musical level of each member of the ensemble, the degree of mastery of the instrument, skills of playing in a chamber ensemble, the psychological interconnection of partners in the ensemble, willpower, temperament, etc. It is desirable that musicians who have a relatively equal level play in one ensemble: this will help to create an appropriate creative atmosphere in their common work. However, every ensemble needs a leader who is able to resolve creative contradictions that may arise during rehearsals. The successful work of the chamber ensemble is facilitated by the responsibility of each of its members for the common cause, as well as clear discipline during rehearsals.
