Purpose and tasks
Scientific collections of the Lviv National Academy of Music named after M. V. Lysenko is a publication, which highlights current cultural, philosophical and ethical-aesthetic problems of musicology, issues of the history and theory of musical art and culture, progressive schools and the latest methods of training musical performers.
The purpose of the publication is to publish scientific research on the history and theory of music, both past and present, as well as materials, reviews, reviews, reviews, music-critical publications, translations, which reflect musical, cultural, artistic life in its various manifestations and in different historical periods.
The quarterly has different sections and covers a wide range of problems of both universal and personal nature. Each issue is devoted to separate anniversary events, but the publications are not limited to one thematic direction, but cover a wide range of scientific interests.
Main tasks:
- to contribute to the creation of an open information environment that ensures the cooperation between leading specialists and young researchers in the field of culture and art;
- publishing the results of scientific research to be taken into account when evaluating the results of the scientific activity of institutions of higher education, scientific institutions, as well as scientific and scientific-pedagogical workers and for their attestation, when evaluating projects of scientific research submitted to tenders for financing from state or local budgets;
- to intensify the development of the international community of specialists in the field of research in the history, theory and practice of music art studies.
