Abstract

Adaptation of bayan pieces for accordion is a special kind of genre. These are homogeneous instruments that are similar in design, identical to the principle of sound formation and timbre, but the main difference is the structure of the right keypad. Whereas pieces for the accordion make up a significant part of the repertoire of accordion performers (as the original repertoire for the latter is not created frequently), there is always a need for the translation of bayan pieces for accordion. Initial changes in the adaptation of the new texture characterize the invoice, which is redistributed between the keyboards and devices that are subject to regulation. The aim of this article is to highlight the peculiarities of the adaptation of "ACCORD Is ON – ACCORDION" by Volodymyr Runchak to the accordion. As the translation of the bayan repertoire, taking into account the design features of the accordion has not yet become the subject of musicology research, the scientific novelty of the article is to highlight the main principles of this genre. In the study of the topic, the following methods were used: analytical, stylistic, comparative, theoretical. The conclusions of the study generalize the basic parameters of the adaptation of bayan works for accordion. Comprehensive analysis of transcriptions and executive-methodical recommendations become the basis for a deep understanding of the specifics of adaptation of the bayan work for accordion and rethinking of texture, position, applicator and timbre-register transformations, and therefore the quality of the performance of the piece. Taking into account this type of adaptation, which is based on the prevalence of bayan works (and adaptation for the accordion) in the educational and concert repertoire of accordionists, possession of the basic principles of the transformation of the text of bayan compositions is necessary for a professional accordionist. The art of transcription requires the author to operate a wide range of knowledge and skills. In particular, a thorough knowledge of the principles of sound formation, design features of the "original instrument" and "recipient instrument" and compulsory possession of the second. Adaptation work requires a deep understanding of the aesthetic ideological positions inherent in the styles of different eras. Also, during translating it is necessary to take into account the creative experience of predecessors and knowledge of the features of genre varieties. The research can serve in further analysis of the principles of the adaptation of bayan works and their creation.
