The article explores works dedicated to the events of the Revolution of Dignity (2013–2014) and the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Culture plays an exceptionally important role in improving the quality of life, as it accumulates the rich social experience of different generations, preserving and transmitting knowledge about our world. The cultural system is a dynamic process that constantly evolves and changes under the influence of new conditions and challenges of the times. It is not merely an integral part of an individual’s life but also serves as the foundation for the functioning of society as a whole. Culture possesses a unique ability to help people withstand the horrors of war, allowing them to maintain their humanity and spiritual balance. During such challenging periods, it is particularly important to have an opportunity to divert attention from destructive events, finding strength to heal the emotional wounds left by conflicts. The article identifies several key aspects that reveal the significance of musical art in the context of the events under study. First and foremost, music functions as a kind of historical chronicle, as musical works preserve and convey the emotional atmosphere of their era, becoming documents of the time. Secondly, musical art plays a crucial role in shaping national identity. By creating their works, composers contribute to strengthening national consciousness, reviving folk traditions, emphasizing the heroic pages of history, and highlighting cultural uniqueness. Another important aspect is spiritual support, as music helps overcome emotional trauma, uniting people and giving them a sense of community and support during difficult times. Finally, the innovative approach in modern Ukrainian music is noted, where artists harmoniously combine classical genres with cutting-edge experimental forms, creating original works that elevate Ukrainian musical art to a new level.
