CREATIVE COMPETITIONS FROM THE EDUCATIONAL PORTAL “ALABA” IN THE CONTEXT OF THE REMOTE CULTURE OF THE COMPETITIVE MOVEMENT

Abstract

The article examines the role of the educational platform “Alaba” in the development of contemporary distance artistic competitions and its impact on the educational process in the context of war in Ukraine. The “Alaba” platform serves as an innovative tool that combines artistic competitions with educational initiatives aimed at comprehensive development of youth’s creative potential. The integration of STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) into the competition process creates broad opportunities for shaping individual development trajectories of participants, stimulating creativity and innovative thinking. The importance of democratizing access to art and intercultural dialogue through digital platforms is emphasized, providing equal opportunities for all participants regardless of their location. System analysis methods were used to assess the effectiveness of organizational approaches of the “Alaba” platform, a comparative method for comparison with traditional competition formats, and content analysis to study the results of youth participation in distance competitions. The research provides a comprehensive analysis of the impact of distance artistic competitions on the “Alaba” platform on the development of youth’s creative abilities in wartime conditions. It was found that the integration of STEAM education into the competition process significantly expands opportunities for the creative development of participants, ensuring the individualization of their educational trajectories. The role of such competitions in supporting the educational process, promoting democratization of access to art and intercultural dialogue is also identified. The significance of competitions as a means of psychological support for youth in stressful situations caused by armed conflict is particularly emphasized. It is determined that the integration of STEAM education into the competition process contributes to the formation of individual educational trajectories that consider the interests, abilities, and ambitions of the participants.
