PROVENŞAL "PROVINCIALISM" IN CREATIVE ACTIVITY D. MILHAUD (on material "Brazilian dance" and Second suite “Scaramoushe”)

Abstract

The article is dedicated to study of piano "quasi-provenşal” works D. Milhaud as focuses style paradigms XX century. Motivation of nature is presented in article for provenşal style D. Milhaud address to brazilian coloring, which formed "province" of Portugal, but this last –provinc of european South. The realized analysis of the named compositions D. Milhaud in directivities on discovery in them perspective for XX century of style integration еuropean-autеuropean-old еuropean qualitys of the music expression. Piano cuite "Saudades do Brazil" and cuite for two piano "Scaramuosh" present " provenşal regionalism" D. Milhaud, which, on wordses most composer, covered the territorial space from Konstantinopol before Rio-de-Janeiro, personifying typical style anachronisms "province", which become actual in XX century. Named works Milhaud present stylistic "average" comparatively of the latinamerican borrowing G. Bizet, I. Albenis, I. Servantes with their handhold on habanera – and nеоfоlkorism opening XX century, which give stability of bitonality on white and black key beside Milhaud and interest of the composer to samba. The last turned out to be to be perspective for the second half XX century, for latinamerican jazz, in which rhythmic model samba became the leadinging component expressiveness this sort of the music.
