THE MAGIC OF HIGH ART: VIVALDI'S "FOUR SEASONS". ACADEMY ORCHESTRA. NAZARII PYLATIUK

Abstract

The author expressed her impressions after attending “the Vivaldi Concert Evening “Seasons”. Academy Orchestra. Nazarii Pilatiuk”, which took place on the stage of the Lviv Academic House of Organ and Chamber Music on November 4, 2022, as part of a cycle of historical concerts. It is specified a concert program, which includes the works of the Baroque era – German and English composer Georg Friedrich Händel and Italian composer Antonio Lucio Vivaldi. The music pieces are presented in the interpretation of the Chamber Orchestra “Academy” of the Lviv National Academy of Music named after M.V. Lysenko (leader and concertmaster – Artur Mykytka, People’s Artist of Ukraine, Professor) under the baton of the conductor, Ihor Pylatiuk, People’s Artist of Ukraine, Professor. Each of the performers of the Chamber Orchestra “Academy” found an opportunity to demonstrate their skill, demonstrate precision, meticulousness in reproducing the subtleties of dynamics, agogics, which flourished the score that contributed to the achievement of the required sound-timbral balance in the ensemble interpretation.
