Abstract

The article provides an interpretation of the “apotheosis” concept. Based on the concrete facts, it was studied the formation from a Russian military man to a figure of culture and art. The war topic in songlike oeuvre during the Soviet period was analyzed. The article also refers to the emergence of “mass song” in the USSR, its origins, and characteristics. It is noted that the musical qualities of the Soviet song are a conglomerate of musical “phrases” widely spread in past centuries. It is established that in the mass media there have recently appeared reliable facts of shameless “borrowing”, or rather theft, of other people’s song artifacts, for example, the song of the Ukrainian People’s Republic “Revolt, my people” “turned” into a well-known song from the first days of the German-Soviet war – Aleksandrov’s “Holy War” with lyrics by Lebedev-Kumach. The author emphasizes that the signing art of the “Russian world” is a convenient and widespread tool of the ruling ideology, which contributed to the continuous militarization of the consciousness of the citizens of this country.
